Anyone who tries to sell you an educational service are full of shit: Examples: Salman Khan, Edgenuity, etc. Kids are scoring badly because 1. They are on their phones CONSTANTLY during class. 2. Some idiot PhD in education convinced society that rote memorization "isn't really learning," which is a flat out lie. 3. Politicians have convinced parents and the rest of society that giving kids more technology in the classroom is the solution, but this is bullshit. I had a kid tell me last year that his biggest problem when he's in ISS is figuring out what to watch on youtube all day. I had another kid tell me that he didn't learn ANYTHING in his Trigonometry Edgenuity class and further stated that "everyone calls this the Photo-Math class." Finally, Apple's "Air-Drop" is a cheating grenade in schools.
